Description
The olives of this extra virgin olive oil with peppers were harvested in early November 2022, and are processed within a maximum of 6 hours. Once the fresh red peppers from Calabria are available in the spring, the olive oil is infused. The olive oil is stored in large steel vats airtight. These bottles will be bottled and have a shelf life of at least July 2025.
Casa Astrid produces a one-time limited volume of 250 liters of olive oil with lemon each year. We reserve months in advance the production of fresh red peppers from farmers in Calabria. Both transport and production are, as far as possible, limited to once a year, thus contributing to less CO2 emissions. The extra virgin olive oil with chilies is also available in a 500ml refill pack.
The extra virgin olive oil with peppers obtained the silver medal on June 12, 2020 in Palmi (Italy), awarded by best olive oil sommeliers of the world.
