The olives from this oil with basil were harvested in early November 2019, pressed immediately (within a maximum of 6 hours) and the extra virgin olive oil is stored airtight in large steel barrels. This oil is produced in May, as soon as fresh basil from Campania is available.
Casa Astrid produces a one-off annually limited volume of 500 liters olive oil with basil. We reserve a supply of fresh basil of the highest quality months in advance from our Italian farmer and partner in the province of Campania. Both transport and production are limited to once a year, so we contribute to less CO2 emissions. This volume is divided over the following packages:
